Day 80

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

It is ridiculously difficult to trace a baby's hand. But we did it. So here's a Colby turkey just for Daddy.

Thanksgiving morning was a bit of a blur with all the packing up for the day and trying not to forget the necessities. I finally made it; only 2 1/2 hours to get out of the house.

Here's Colby decked out in his turkey day colors.

A happy bouncer.

Mid-afternoon, we had our first snowfall. It was lovely.

Silly face.

Vulcan hand gesture.

Having a meltdown.

At day's end, Colby was stuffed with pumpkin pie and turkey (well, maybe in his dreams) and was most satisfied. Sleepy in the car, it was time to go home.

"I'm thankful for a wonderful Daddy like you. Night night."

Day 79

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Yeah, that's right. Busted out the crotch. Those snaps didn't stand a chance with Torso Man!

I think he looks kind of drunk. Maybe I shouldn't start hitting the bottle right after breakfast. Hmmm...

Happiness is...bouncing!

He has learned to love his bouncer. Bouncy bouncy bouncy...

It's been a long day out running around in miserable weather. The little guy is really pooped.

He was so stinkin' cute tonight. He was trying so hard to stay awake but those eyes kept closing. Then he'd wake himself up and give me a giant grin.

"Oh, Daddy, I need to get to bed. I've got a lot of turkey to eat tomorrow. Goodnight."

Day 78

I'm actually posting this a day late because the uploader was broken last night. And now I don't remember anything about yesterday. Yeah, I know, how is that possible? But really...no idea. So let's just look at cute pictures, shall we?

Such pretty eyes.

Breakdancing baby? Nah, he was just playing on the floor. And for once, kind of enjoying it.

What kind of face is this? It looks like he's pondering something.

Oh, I remember this one. He was one crabby baby. It took me forever to get him calmed down enough to go to sleep. Ugh.

"I am so upset. I don't know why and I'm going to scream until I figure it out!!! Daddy, I'm not going to bed anytime soon."

Day 77

Oh, he was so sleepy this morning. I bet he was dreaming of a hair transplant.

He's awake now and doing his morning workout on the floor.

Mesmerized by sunshine.

And now he's got a cottage cheese factory going on in his mouth. Yummy.

Because he was such a puk-a-saurus this morning, a bath was a must before we left the building.

"Mmurbllllwahhshhhgggrrruuumbldy"

Alright, ready to go! 70 degrees outside so he could finally wear this outfit. It makes me happy because it's so adorable, er, um, I mean masculine, but was too big for him this summer.

Back from our adventure and it looks like he had a good time.

Hanging out in the swing this evening with his blankie. Auntie Beth thoroughly terrified him tonight so I had to separate them.

And down for the count. This was about 8:30. I'm in so much trouble tonight because now he'll be waking up at 4:00 AM.

"I'm not really asleep, Daddy. I'm just pretending so I don't have to talk to that Beth lady any more. 'Night."

Day 76

Up and at 'em this morning. He had a large portion of fingers for breakfast.

Gravity took hold and his huge noggin was his downfall.

This was just too cute not to post. That's a back paw being cuddled by his front legs.

As disturbing as this image is, this is what Colby gets to see everyday. Yup, Daddy not only lives in the computer, but he's also a crazed maniac. Who picks his nose. What would we do without video chat?

Simply smiley.

Just chillin' in the bouncer.

Just barfin' in the bouncer.

How to throw a hissy fit because you are laying in a crib:

And now that he's safe and secure on mama's lap, he (and Remy) decide to take a nap.

Super handsome baby but let's take another look at Daddy's picture above and re-evaluate.

"Mmmmm, this tag is delicious."
It was a really long day with a really fussy baby. My lap is tired. Bedtime calls.

"Gettin' ready to go to bed, Daddy. Talk to you tomorrow. Goodnight."
