What started out as Colby's blog for his deployed daddy has turned into the diary of two little muppets. Sawyer has blessed us with his red hair and squeaking (Beaker anyone?) and Colby is still my little Cookie Monster. And this is for everyone who is far, far away and wants to see these babies every day.

Day 198
In case you were wondering, it's Spring! It was almost 80 today and gorgeous. And daffodils make me happy. Not quite as happy as tulips, but it's not their turn yet.
Despite the glorious weather, the sickness continues. But we enjoyed the fresh air anyway. He is fascinated with the outdoor world.
Exploring the big swing was not really the best idea since he was about to take a nose dive off of it.
OK, back to being sick and gross again.
Getting curious.
He could maybe use that bib to wipe his nose (hint hint).

"I can't keep up with all the snot, Daddy, so I just let it run. Whatever. Goodnight!" |

Day 197
Sickie McSnotterson: Day 5
Looking a little bit better.
OK, maybe not.
Still pretty crabby.
Then a bit happier because he stole the monitor off of the table. He just loves swiping things that he's not supposed to have.
Oooh, so interesting.
Sad because I took the monitor away.
And happy because he grabbed it again.
Just kicked back before bed.
"Is there something on my face? That's OK, Mama will wipe it off. As long as she doesn't get out that blue nose sucker again. Goodnight!" |

Day 196
Sickie McSnotterson: Day 4
I have no idea what he did to his hair during his nap but it's like he's channeling Gary Busey or something.
I'm right there with you, buddy. He just looks miserable.
He was so tired but just refused to go to sleep. Sometimes you just gotta play the keyboard instead.
"I'm going to bed soon, Daddy, but I just needed to play a little music first. G'night." |

Day 195
Sickie McSnotterson: Day 3
He loves his giraffe ring stacker. He dumps the rings off of it and chews on its ears.
Hi.
He was feeling pretty goofy for a while and was laughing hysterically at the cats in the window. Of course, as soon as I grabbed the camera he stopped laughing. But he's still talking/squealing/fake coughing/yelling at the cats. They, however, are unimpressed.
And he's done for the night. He's looking a little rough.
"Goodnight, Daddy. That's all I have to say." |

Day 194
Sickie McSnotterson: Day 2
And then the good mood vanished. He was so pissy that I had to feed him on my lap.
Colby decided to pass the time by beating up the cat. I love it. Steele deserves a little torture. Just wait until he's mobile...that cat doesn't know what he's in for. (And how ginormous is my cat?!)
He was telling me how he kicked some kitty ass.
We had a temporary reprieve from snot. But it didn't last too long.
"OK, Daddy, I told you to make it stop. Why is my nose doing this? I'm so tired...night night." |
