A day at the zoo.

Today was that last day of leave for Daddy so we decided to take advantage of the glorious weather and head to the zoo.

What did Colby learn today?

- These giraffes have been falsely accused and don't deserve to be behind bars. Just because someone saw a couple of guys with really long necks knock over the liquor store doesn't mean it was them. It could have been these people.

- Cats are lazy and useless not matter how big they are.

- These Somali Asses are conjoined twins.

- Birds are stupid and it's fun to mock them.

- And most importantly, monkeys are pure evil. Especially when they look like raccoons.

Enough with the animal lessons, let's just watch penguins poop in the water.

Time for a break.

And a snack.

Bye-bye zoo, we'll be back again. In the meantime, let the poor giraffes out of jail. You've got no proof.

I feel like a traitor.

It just feels so wrong to betray St. Louis. Well, that and I don't really like to drink Miller. It was our last day in Wisconsin and we needed something free, er, um, I mean fun, to do. So a brewery tour it is!

Boy, Colby sure was interested in learning how beer is bottled. That, by the way, was sarcasm.

The old building looked pretty cool though.

We sat in the cool, dark caverns and he was out like a light.

But he woke right up when it was time to get the free drinks. They carded him so he didn't end up drinking, but he did completely destroy this coaster. He didn't miss anything thing, trust me. It would have been a whole lot better if they served Bud Select.

Then we stopped at Wisconsin Cheese Mart to get some cheese curds. Colby was pretty much passed out, but we still had to get a picture of Wisconsin Colby. Get it? Hah!

And of course we got him a baby cheese head.

Back to Nana's for dinner and a few poses before it was time to head back home in the morning.

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny found Colby all the way up in Milwaukee!

Aww, what a sweet bunny.

Playing with his cousin Kaylee.

I'm not sure who is funnier looking.

Too. Much. Ham.

First a nap on Mama then one on Daddy.

It's hard being a mixed family.

In a ballpark, that is. I refused to let Colby go 100% Brewer. I like the splash of red & white.

Miller Park with the roof closed. It makes for a very intimate setting albeit strange. But it was nice since it was so chilly out. And we weren't up that high...just a wide angle lens.

Is someone getting bored?

Evil eye. At least Kaylee is smiling.

So sleepy.

A change of venue was all that was necessary. Aunt Paula is magic.

He was probably laughing at creepy Uncle Bob.

Deep fried cheese curds. Very yummy. I guess they were. Daddy ate almost all of them.

The Sausage Race.

And for the record, my Chorizo won. That's right.

"Can we please just go home? I am so friggin' bored!"
Back at the motel and contemplating his escape. I don't think it will be too long before he's walking.
