Day 61

We had a long day of going to the movies and shopping. He had a good day but was definitely tired when we got home.

He's sitting in Daddy's chair like a big boy.

And practicing his dance moves.

Colby was definitely a happy boy this evening.

But then he decided to yell at me.

Wait for it....

Kicked back and contemplating the meaning of life.

All done.

And Snugglebug is  finally worn out.

"Night night, Daddy."

Day 60

So, um, I didn't charge my camera battery today. So I was only able to snap a few pictures. I'll make up for it tomorrow.

"Bring on the french fries!!!"

It was pretty cold out tonight and the wind was fierce, so I broke out the car seat cover. Colby had his own little warm cocoon with just his head popping out.

I guess he liked it.

Home from dinner and it's about bedtime. But guess who's wide awake now?

"That's right. I'm done with the shoes."
He crashed after some nom-noms.

"I'm sooooo full. Milk is good. Night night, Daddy."

Day 59

Today was not much fun, so my post will be brief. Colby was sick most of the day. I'm not sure if he is just teething or if he has a bug. He didn't eat much all day and most of that came right back up. He didn't have a fever, but he definitely had a case of fussiness and crying intermingled with bursts of happiness. But not on camera. On camera, this is the only face he gave me. Oh, and he scratched himself on his left cheek. He did a great job of it, too.

But the cats were cute.

He played on the floor for a while, but still wouldn't smile for me.

And then Steele took a turn on the blanket.

I thought he was about ready to fall asleep here...

...but I was wrong!

OK, here's a kind of a smile. Not a bad way to end the day.

"I don't feel good, Daddy, but I'll smile for you anyway. Goodnight."

Day 58

We had a busy morning because we had to go my old office for a little bit of work. His job was to be charming.

He was practicing his smiles.

He wore his brand new Tigger outfit Grandma bought him. He's tolerating hoodies more and more.

Back home and someone's ready for a nap. And that someone is me.

Naked baby!

He was getting really sleepy but trying to stay awake. I think he was hoping to talk to daddy before bed.

"I'm glad I got to tell you goodnight, Daddy."

Day 57

Today was very quiet and the only thing even remotely entertaining was the cat. I could hear Steele in the kitchen dragging around his big bed. That in itself is not unusual at all since he is a Feng Shui master, but today it didn't sound right. He was working too hard. So I went to investigate and discovered that he somehow got this big basket on top of the cushion and was dragging them both around the kitchen! And the basket wasn't even empty. I really need to sell him to the circus.

He was talkin' to me again.

 He looks guilty.

"Look, I have a plastic chain. Now what? I don't get it."
He was doing such a good job of sitting up tonight on my lap. He's getting so strong.

Getting ready to get ready for bed.

"I am completely awake! Don't even bother about putting on my PJs."

"On second thought....Goodnight, Daddy."

Day 56

This is why it's my favorite time of year. I'm sure Daddy is missing all this color.

Colby was certainly Mr. Loquacious this morning. That's right, I know big words.

This was some very serious conversation.

Aaaaaand...stretch.

Today's blog is brought to you by the letter T. That's T for Tongue.

He was actually shaking the rattle today. And beating himself in the head with it.

Awwwww. He was almost asleep on me. So peaceful...until I move him.

"Night night, Daddy."
